The new RAM 2001 Stress Exercise
System completes and summarizes RAM
S.r.l. long-lasting experience in the
ECG applications for Stress Testing.
The system allows a colour-comparison
of the "ON LINE" condition for the test
under the pre-exercise phase and other
important phases directly chosen
by the operator.
The monitoring of the ECG's tracing is
constantly supplied with the ST tract
variations displayed on the screen
under the 12 channels in the shape of
stroking "trends" or as a number value.
The system is also supplied with the
revolutionary SCF filter
(Source Consistency Filter).
This filter, using the learned
morphology, makes the distinction
between noise and signal in each lead.
This reduces muscle tremor noise, low
frequency and high frequency noise,
and baseline artifact while preserving
diagnostic-quality waveforms.
The filter can be invoked or removed
using the soft key menu.
Other features are:
- Real "diagnostic" quality of the analysed trace.
- Reliability of the calculus-algorithm for median complexes.
- Acquisition of the ECG trace occurs through a light and comfortable patient cable.
- Interface ECG Processor Card is a PCMCIA-type (small and light)
- Automatic control of our 770 M Treadmill and 660 ER Cycloergometer through a dedicated serial cable.
- Acquisition of interpretative ECG on the resting condition.

PATIENTS CABLE

The patient cable design greatly reduces the potential for lead juxtaposition.
This design maximizes patient comfort, increasing the likelihood of a successful test.
Short lead wires and lack of cable between patient and stress monitor greatly reduces artifact.
A reduced artifact gives you a cleaner and more diagnostic ECG. |

REPORT MANAGER WITH SUMMARY STATISTICS
|

|
At the conclusion of the recovery phase, if you click on in Final the system
loads automatically the report manager and display
the summaries statistics for the exercise stress test.
In the report manager you can find the following information:
Total exercise time;
Maximum speed/power (Mph, Kmh, Watts);
Maximum grade (%) (for treadmill only);
Leads with greater than 100uV change in ST;
Duke treadmill score;
Maximum heart rate;
-
% Target rate (percentage of target heart rate attained);
Estimated maximum metabolic equivalents (METS);
Maximum double pressure product;
Maximum systolic and diastolic blood pressure;
Functional aerobic impairment (FAI% only if you use Bruce Protocol);
Maximum ST elevation and depression;
Maximum change in ST elevation;
Maximum change in ST depression;
Selectable ST Change Snapshot. |

ARCHIVE
|
 |
The RAM 2001 automatically stores the last 100 stress tests, including final reports
and full data disclosure.
To access and review/edit saved reports, click on the Archive from the RAM 2001's main menu.
The RAM 2001 Export function offers a convenient way to save and store final reports for acquired
stress tests. This feature offers the possibility of saving these files to a local (C:\RAM-2001\REPORTS)
or network directory (if a network connection is available) in a standard PDF file type.
To review a PDF file, exit from the RAM 2001 application; from Windows Explorer, locate the file
you want to review and double click on it.
The Adobe Acrobat PDF reader is a free programme and you can download it from the internet at
the address http://www.adobe.com |

ST LEAD
|
 |
You can select a specific lead for the expanded QRS complex and ST display from the drop down window.
Available ST Lead options:
Any of the 12-leads can be manually selected: the system always display this lead until the user
switches to another one.
Dynamic: the system monitors all 12 leads and displays the one with the most significant ST
change. Leads displayed will change automatically during the stress test and will change on the
printouts as well.
Max Depression/Max Elevation: the system will display the lead that at the moment has the
maximum ST depression or elevation.
You may wish to change the time interval between the J-point
and the ST measurement point. |
